Alex Kapo, hailing from Toronto, transitioned from a theatre enthusiast to a classically and jazz trained musician, before eventually emerging as a pop/dance artist and performer.

Kapo has recently unveiled her debut single, "Phoenix," which will be included in her forthcoming solo EP set to release in 2024. 

​

Kapo is the creative force behind the record, serving as the mastermind for the music and lyrics, as well as co-producing the EP.

​

Kapo is no stranger to the recording studio, having contributed her exceptional vocal abilities to some of the most prominent titles in the industry. From spine-chilling soundtracks of The First Omen (2024), In The Tall Grass (2019), and The Witch (2016), now streaming on Netflix, to the thrilling second season of AMC's The Terror (2019), Kapo's musical magic has left a mark on screens big and small.

Kapo is a seasoned performer with extensive experience entertaining audiences, spanning from intimate private settings to large public events with ticketed admission.

Kapo is presently engaged in performances across the wider Toronto region. The venues and event halls include Massey Hall, Roy Thomson Hall, The Rex Hotel Jazz and Blues Bar, the El Mocambo, the Four Seasons Hotel, The Carlu, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, The Westin Harbour Castle, 3030 Dundas, Hart House, the Royal Ontario Museum, and many others.
